Hi, I'm Ashley - I'm the herbalist and maker behind Root of It Apothecary.
Root of It Apothecary was built because I wanted herbal care to feel more honest—support that meets you where you are, not where you "should" be.
When you're already dealing with stress, pain, or simply trying to keep up with everyday life, wellness shouldn't feel like one more thing to figure out.
That's why everything here is created to feel simple, grounded, and supportive-whether it's your first cup of herbal tea or a custom formula made just for you. Life is hard enough-we try to make it simpler where we can.

Where did the 'Root of It' begin?
The Root of It Apothecary grew out of a simple frustration. I wanted herbal care that felt honest, approachable, and practical—not intimidating or filled with impossible wellness standards.
I've come to believe real wellness starts at the root of the issue. Sometimes that means slowing down, asking better questions, and looking at the whole picture instead of chasing symptoms.
As I learned traditional herbalism, I realized people weren't just looking for products. They wanted someone willing to answer questions, explain the "why," and help them feel confident caring for themselves.
That's the business I decided to build.
